Greetings,

Please see the press release below regarding a 45 day contract/inventory free trial that was meant to afford the approximately 1100 CNN affiliates the courtesy of not having to make a snap decision on who their top of the hour news provider would be after they come fresh out of Spring Break. The press release below is pointed at those CNN affiliates who have not yet contracted with a news provider and will not have CNN top of the hour news to rely on come April 2nd. However, we are also willing to extend this same offer to any affiliate that finds themselves without a news provider on April 2nd.

Thus, our concept is of simple courtesy to extend to those former CNN stations a six week “pressure relief valve” where they could sample our fine top and bottom of the hour news product inventory free, without pressure, giving them extra time to make the best decision on who their top and bottom of the hour news provider will be. Obviously we think that we are the best choice, but this offer is meant as a thoughtful courtesy to those stations who have not yet made up their mind – we don’t want them to be “high and dry” on April 2nd (please see press release below for special offer).

Kind Regards,

John McCaslin, Executive Vice President
America’s Radio News Network

America’s Radio News’ 24/7 Short-Form
Top and Bottom of the Hour News
To Be Offered To Former CNN Affiliates Inventory Free for 45 days, April 2nd through May 15th

Washington, D.C. – America’s Radio News – Short-Form (the sister network of America’s Radio News’ Long-Form Network), consisting of top and bottom of the hour news 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, will be available for a 45-day inventory free trial, starting Monday, April 2nd.

John McCaslin, Executive Vice President of News for America’s Radio News Network says, “We’re so confident that this is the best top and bottom of the hour news product on the air, we are willing to allow former CNN affiliates (who have not yet contracted with another provider) to air it, without inventory requirement – contract free through May 15th. So, if you are a former CNN affiliate, all you have to ask yourself is, ‘What am I going to do with an extra 700 local minutes of commercial inventory, if I take ARNN up on its free sample offer?’”

Because of the growth of America’s Radio News Network’s long-form programming, and the demand for short-form top and bottom of the hour news brought on by CNN’s sudden departure from radio news, America’s Radio News Network recently announced that it had moved up its schedule for the launch of its second news network to accommodate the needs of radio stations looking for “agenda free” short-form 24/7 news.

America’s Radio News’ long-form news network has been the fastest growing long-form series of multiple 3-hour news blocks on radio today. ARNN combined with America’s Morning News now has over 300 affiliations and is heard daily 15 hours-a-day, 5 days-a-week and has resulted in many full format flips to all news, weekdays M-F. ARNN’s second news network consisting of a short-form 24/7 top and bottom of the hour news service will provide a unique supplemental news service utilizing all the resources of both ARNN’s long-form news division and its complement of unbiased worldwide news resources.

“ARNN’s new top-and bottom-of-the-hour news features now means that our rapidly growing family of network affiliates will no longer have to break away from our existing ARNN long-form news blocks to hear that hour's top breaking national and international news stories,” says Mark Masters, CEO of America’s Radio News Network, “Bottom line, ARNN is now the complete ‘go-to’ radio news network – for urgent breaking newscasts on the hour and half-hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, along with our intriguing and diverse lineup of newsmaker interviews in addition to our large array of 3 hour long-form weekday news blocks our listeners enjoy each weekday.”

To take advantage of this sampling opportunity through May 15th, 2012, of America’s Radio News – Short-Form contact your affiliate representative today at (888) 383-3733 for more information.
