Host Accidentally Sends Photo Of His Private Parts To Gold Metalist THE MOUTH, AUGUST 19TH, 2013 – With a possible cue from Anthony Weiner, Dominic Harvey (left), one part of the hugely popular Dom, Mike & Jay-Jay (Feeney) Morning Show On The Edge-FM/Auckland decided to surprise his producer by sending a photo of his 'package' on Snapchat. This is the social media tool that sends temporary photos to friends before fading away. Unfortunately, it somehow got diverted to multiple Paralympian gold medallist Sophie Pascoe (shown below) who was about to compete in an international swimming competition. According to The New Zealand Herald Pascoe was in Canada competing at the IPC Championship when Harvey's appeared in her social media feed. "Just finished eating dinner and opened Snapchat. #awkward surprise." Harvey said the picture was intended for his producer Sophie Hallwright when he apologized to Pascoe. "So sorry about that Snapchat. I know you like beef and lamb ... but nobody deserves a surprise pork sausage," he wrote. Harvey's employer, Mediaworks, said the incident was just a “stupid” mistake. "No one feels stupider than Dom himself but he has apologized. No disciplinary action is planned," program director Leon Wratt said. Harvey joked on Facebook this morning that he didn't know why all the BIG fuss over such a SMALL thing. And for the record, Pascoe tweeted took gold in the 100m freestyle in world record time.

Sprint To Bring FM Chips To Smart Phones; Emmis' Smulyan Says We Set A New Course As An Industry THE MOUTH, AUGUST 16TH, 2013 –– Chalk up a major victory for radio as Sprint announced it will offer access to the new NextRadio® interactive FM radio application beginning with HTC One® and HTC EVO® 4G LTE. This deal will allow Sprint to provide the NextRadio service on a broad range of Sprint smartphone devices during the next several years. When compared with streaming, NextRadio consumes about three times less battery life than other music apps. That’s because the audio is coming through a built-in FM tuner instead of over the Internet. NextRadio is a free app that comes preloaded on HTC One from Sprint for all new activations. Radio executives have been campaigning for years to get a “radio chip” installed in smartphones and other mobile devices to enable mobile users to listen to FM radio. The drive was led by the NAB, with a major assist from Emmis' Chairman & CEO Jeff Smulyan who said "Today we set a new course as an industry, one that will bring exciting audience and advertiser engagement opportunities,""This announcement is a credit to the entire radio industry, which has unified to make this happen."
BBC Rocked Again Following Arrest Of Another Top Host In Alleged (S)exual Misconduct Scandal THE MOUTH, AUGUST 16TH, 2013 –– Yet another former, highly popular BBC figure , Dave Lee Travis, was arrested yesterday in connection with alleged (s)exual offenses discovered by detectives following the Jimmy Savile scandal. According to The Daily Mail, Travis, 67, a former Radio 1 host, was the fourth person arrested during Operation Yewtree as police revealed that the total number of victims had increased to 450 during the six-week inquiry. Officers are still in the process of contacting all of the victims. Travis, who was released on bail, denied earlier this month that he had groped two former BBC workers. One of his alleged victims, the newsreader Vivien Creegor, accused him of fondling her breasts while she was live on Radio 4 in the 1970s. Another woman claimed Travis invited her to his studio in 1977 and put his hand up her skirt. Mr Travis denied the allegations last month and said that he was happy to speak to police about the accusations. Travis' arrest follows those of the former rock star Gary Glitter, Freddie Starr and a former BBC producer.
BBC 1's Chris Stark Strikes Again With Awkward Jennifer Aniston Interview [VIDEO] THE MOUTH, AUGUST 16TH, 2013 –– Back in March, Jockline Daily shared an interview with BBC newbie, Chris Stark (a deadringer for a young Hugh Grant) with Mila Kunis that went viral and led him to near overnight celebrity status worldwide. Yesterday, he apparently did it again with actress Jennifer Aniston who was out promoting her new movie 'We Are The Millers." If you're a student of interviews, take note, Stark's boyish, innocent approach to raising the most personal questions seems to drive Hollywood celeb's like Kunis and Aniston in a total comfort zone. Among the more honest exchanges involved what research went into her role as a stripper? Why females are so in love with Ryan Gosling and (take a cue here fellas) he had a Watford FC football (soccer) shirt made for her with her name on it. WATCH VIDEO HERE
