He said thieves opened credit accounts with five separate bank credit cards, along with a JCPenny card. “The best they could do was tell me to check the mailbox every day, ”Grimes said. "I’ve alerted the IRS, the Federal Trade Commission and all of the credit bureaus.” “Now I’m in the process of alerting my current accounts because I received a call Wednesday that someone tried to access one of my Capital One cards,” Grimes said.

[LISTEN] Listener Has Auto Accident While Phoning In For Contest

THE MOUTH, JANUARY 9TH, 2015 –– Guess we should add 'don't do radio contesting' to the list of safety measures while driving. This would have helped one Dallas woman yesterday who phoned into 96.3 KSCS-FM's midday goddess, Michelle Rodriguez. No sooner had 7Michelle answered the phone, instead of a voice at the other end, she heard nothing more than loud noise and screaming. "Hello," Michelle repeated until a clearly shaken-up women finally spoke. 'Sorry I just got into a car accident,' she said nervously. "Are you okay,' Michelle quickly asked. "Yes I'm fine,' the woman said. 'But I'm in the middle of an intersection... 'DID I WIN' the woman screamed. 'Yes' a happy but surprised Michelle replied. "I'll just get your phone number and call you back." We never heard what she won, but hopefully it was worth it. We're guessing from this point forward Michelle will begin answering all contest by asking 'Are you driving?' LISTEN HERE

Another Bizzare Ruling from Ofcom London community radio station Resonance FM has found itself in trouble with Ofcom (our FCC) after broadcasting a programme on the day of the Scottish Referendum encouraging people which way to vote. Ofcom considered that two broadcasts raised issues warranting investigation even though ONLY ONE complaint was received and NO ONE IN ENGLAND was allowed to vote so Resonance FM COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY INFLUENCED THE VOTE IN SCOTLAND! Despite this, Resonance FM issued a graveling apology to Ofcom to protect their licence.

[WATCH] BRIAN REGAN: 'I Was A Radio DJ For One Day...'

THE MOUTH, JANUARY 8TH, 2015 –– In Chris Rock's film 'Take Five', which was released in December, comedian Brian Regan is featured in a very short cameo as a satellite radio producer. While performing this week in Canada this week, he paused for an interview with The Vancouver Sun and revealed he actually worked 'One Day' as a fill-in host on a Dallas country station. After being asked if he had any on-air experience, he said: "One time I was working 7in Dallas, and I was going to be there for more than a week, and I did a radio interview the first week. It was for a country station and one of the DJs was going on vacation the second week. So they asked if I would fill in one day. I thought all right, I’ll take this little challenge on. I was a radio DJ for one day on a country station and, uhm, it didn’t go well. The first thing I did, just to be completely silly, I said “Hey my name’s Brian Regan, and the first thing I want to do is give away a truck.” And I was just being absurd, thinking everybody would get the joke. And nobody got the joke. So I had to spend the next three hours doing disclaimers."
