Syracuse Morning Duo Ends Run At Station By Being Killed Off By Zombies
THE MOUTH, OCTOBER 18TH, 2012 –– I know what you're thinking: Halloween. Zombies. Stuntage. Natch. Oddly enough, there's some truth to this scenario as Hunter Scott and Josh Grosvent (shown), co-hosts of 95X/Syracuse morning show chose late October to exit the show. Grosvent told syracuse.com “We figured the most interesting way to do it was to be killed off by zombies.” Scott, who also serves as PD for 95X and Grosvent had been handling the show for two years. Given the bit, you won't be surprised to learn that Grosvent is also a comic writer who’s hosted a weekly Wednesday night improvisational “Walk Up Radio Show” at Wise Guys Comedy Club in Syracuse. 95X GM Shane Bogardus said that PMD Big Smoothie would be stepping in Wednesday morning to cover the show until the station finds a replacement. Both members of the show said the resignations are not a stunt to promote the station's ’Zombie Crawl 2012, which starts Saturday.
Tagg Romney Tells Host He Wanted To Take A Swing At Obama After He Called His Dad A Liar [AUDIO]
THE MOUTH, OCTOBER 18TH, 2012 –– We know towards the end of the presidential election things begin to get dirty, but now even their kids are getting into the fray. Yesterday while stumping for his dad in Raleigh, N.C., Tagg Romney (shown with Dad, Mitt) joined Bill LuMaye's show on WPTF-AM and when asked what is it like for you to hear the president of the United States call your dad a liar?, Tagg remarked with a slight chuckle "Well, eh, you jump out of your seat, you want to rush down and take a swing at him." He added "..you can’t do that because, well first because there’s a lot of Secret Service between you and him.” As for the race, Tagg said they’re going to do everything they can do to try to make my dad into someone he’s not. We signed up for it. We’ve gotta kinda sit there and take our punches and then send them right back the other way. Tagg was, of course, joking about wanting to take a swipe at Obama, right? Uhhhh, Right? ”LISTEN TO AUDIO

THE MOUTH, OCTOBER 18TH, 2012 –– The former Kevin & Bean producer/turned TV star, Jimmy Kimmel, should feel right back in his element later this month as he'll be joined by America's Got Talent' Howard Stern among numerous other New York based celebrities there to celebrate his return home. Kimmel will head to Brooklyn, N.Y. for a week of shows airing from October 29 through November 2. Among his many guests will include David Letterman, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kelly Ripa, Tracy Morgan, Alicia Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Vampire Weekend and the Avett Brothers with the Brooklyn Philharmonic. Reportedly, the show will include a tour of his old neighborhood and childhood home. This could be a bit weird for Letterman, however. Starting on January 8, 2013, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will air weeknights in the same time slot. Kimmel idolized Letterman coming up. In a 2011 Hollywood Report interview he said "I’d draw Dave’s face on every book cover. I was like a teenage girl in love with him."

Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, Mrs Harman said: “Progress has been made - and it has been hard fought-for progress - but I think it’s always dangerous to say ‘oh well, that couldn’t happen now’. The British Government appears to be divided over whether a public inquiry will be held into the Savile scandal. Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister, has said that the Government would consider the option, while Maria Miller, the Culture Secretary, appeared to rule it out, saying that it was up to the police to investigate what took place.

Dave Van Stone, president and general manager of WBNS 97.1 The Fan, confirmed on Tuesday that Scott Torgerson has been suspended indefinitely for the tweet. Perhaps fueling the outburst was the fact that the Heisman Trophy winner was part of Ohio's chief rival, Michigan. Kirk Herbstreit, a football analyst on ESPN with Howard, blasted Torgerson during his own show on WBNS program (WBNS is an ESPN affiliate). Of note, among the many hot topics to be covered at this year's Talk Show Boot Camp will be Crisis Management. You can bet practicing safe tweets will be part of the conversation.

Beyoncé To Perform During Halftime At Superbowl XLVII
THE MOUTH, OCTOBER 17TH, 2012 –– In case you can't remember what date the Superbowl is in 2013, just check out Beyoncé's cheeks in her new Tumblr photo she just posted. Of course a bigger question that MTV poses is whether this will be a primo opportunity for her and Destiny's Child To Reunite. They write: "Fans have been begging for this reunion for years, with rumors surfacing every so often that Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are actually planning to release new music or get back on the road together. While none of it has proven true just yet, what better place to get the band back together than on the Super Bowl stage?" Well, whether they regroup or not, sounds like once again it's the halftime entertainment and TV commercials that will really take center stage come February. Oh by the way, it's back in New Orleans, host site for this year's 4th Annual Talk Show Boot Camp. No Beyoncé, but we hear co-presenter Gabe Hobbs could be croonin' in the newly refurbished Green Lounge come Friday night.
