Um, I`m just calling about the juggling thing. When I was 16 and 17 I was juggling.. um, two teachers, a substitute teacher and …" "Wait. Did Beyonce Cause Yesterday's Power Outage In The Superdome?

THE MOUTH, FEBRUARY 4TH, 2013 –– Lots of fingerpointing in New Orleans yesterday following the 34 minute power outage during the Super Bowl. At the time, The Baltimore Ravens were leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6 when most of the lights with 13:22 left in the third quarter. A couple of hours after the game, officials cited an "abnormality" in the power system that triggered the shutdown and a number of new sources credited an unnamed radio reporter as pointing the blame at the Beyonce halftime show which may have overloaded the system. And while the identity of the reporter wasn't shared, Jon Frosch tweeted "Dial Global radio just explained this by saying 'Beyonce used all the power." According to USA Today, Philip Allison, a spokesman for Entergy New Orleans, told the Associated Press that all the feeds into the Superdome were operating as expected and that the blackout was most probably the result of improperly maintained equipment at the venue."

Bubba And Schnitt Take Their Case To The Airwaves; Things Get Heated Between Schnitt And Reporter [VIDEO]

7

THE MOUTH, FEBRUARY 1ST, 2013 –– Was there ever a doubt the defamation case between Todd Schnitt & Bubba was far from over? Both hosts returned to the air yesterday and wasted little time in discussing the case which has now brought international attention. Clem spent most of the morning talking about the trial repeating that he didn't defame either Todd "MJ" Schnitt and Schnitt's wife. "It's been a real, rough time, millions of unnecessary dollars spent, the tax payers of Hillsborough County and the judiciary system, the strain. It's a victory for the Saturday Night Lives, the Glenn Becks, the Rush Limbaughs, the Howard Sterns, the Cowheads," Clem said to WTSP News, "It's a victory for all of those people and oddly enough, MJ himself." In a rather surprising move, Bubba took a call from from one of the jurors. A gag order doesn't allow him to reach out to jurors, but THEY can call into his show if they wished to do so. With her identity kept hidden through a voice scrambler, they talked for about an hour. She told him MJ's parody about his wife's tattoo swayed the jury in Bubba's favor."That parody and the talk about the 'tramp stamp.' I've never heard that before, that killed them. I kid you not, that actually killed them." Bubba estimates he and his company have racked up nearly $2 million in legal fees and told WTSP "We're going to seek fees, we prevailed unanimously, they owe us our fees." Host Who Mocked Caller With Down Syndrome, Takes Suspension

THE MOUTH, FEBRUARY 1ST, 2013 –– Q92/Canton host, Mo, issued an apology on yesterday's show for making fun of the woman he thought was a prank caller. As Jockline Daily reported on Wednesday, Kellie Baker, a woman with Down syndrome, accidentally dialed the station on Jan. 21 thinking she was calling a friend. After telling Mo she had apparently dialed a wrong number, he said "obviously you have some sort of a speech impediment" and proceeded to make fun of her voice for the next three hours, according to newsnet5. On yesterday's show, he said: "At this time, I would like to apologize to the woman that called, her family, her friends and everyone else that has been outraged by what transpired last Monday. I am truly sorry. At the time of the call, I honestly believed it was a prank. However, that doesn't excuse what happened or what I did. I take full responsibility. I am truly sorry and I hope I can earn your trust back." He added "Beginning today, I will take a suspension and be off the air. The station and I are committed to raising awareness in any way we can in an effort to make this right with the family, and to any and all who have, or know someone with, developmental disabilities." British Prosecutors Decide Not To File Charges In Royal Prank

THE MOUTH, FEBRUARY 1ST, 2013 –– British prosecutors declined today to file charges against anyone involved with a prank that resulted in a nurse's suicide, according to CNN. This comes on the heels of Australia's Austereo radio group's recent release of The Hot 30 Countdown's Mel Greig and Michael Christian who performed the prank. "Having carefully reviewed the evidence currently available, we have concluded that there is no evidence to support a charge of manslaughter," Malcolm McHaffie, deputy head of special crime at the Crown Prosecution Service, said in an e-mail. Last December, the duo impersonated Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles and called King Edward VII's Hospital to gain information about the condition of the Duchess. The nurse who put the call through, was later found dead from an apparent suicide. In one of three notes left behind, she reportedly implicated the hosts. At first, they were taken off the air and the network suspended all prank calls and pulled its advertising. This past Monday, both host were released, but their producers remained with the network.
