SNL'S BILL HADER: Not A Belieber; Timberlake Much Classier Guest Host [VIDEO]

THE MOUTH, MAY 24TH, 2013 –– You may have read awhile back about the mixed reviews Justin Bieber got when he was a guest host on Saturday Night Live. MRetiring cast member, Bill Hader, joined Howard Stern this week and, more or less, put an asterisk next to that perception by saying that when the precocious uber star made an appearance he showed up with like 20 people and backstage. In comparison, he called Justin Timberlake a 'classy' guest. "He’s great a real class act. Also, the guy doesn’t show up with anybody. It’s just him,” Hader said. In contrast, Hader said Bieber came to the SNL studio with quite the large entourage. “He had a guy holding a slice of pizza. A guy holding a diet coke. Going around stage, you're trying to fight through all these people to get dressed," Hader said. Stern told Hader he thought for sure we would be seeing him on TV or Film real soon. We tend to agree. STUDY: Teen Interest In Facebook May Be Waning

THE MOUTH, MAY 23RD, 2013 –– A new study from Pew Research shows that teens interest on Facebook may be waning. According to the report, they specifically dislike the increasing number of adults on the site, get annoyed when their Facebook friends share inane details, and are drained by the “drama” that they described as happening frequently on the site. The stress of needing to manage their reputation on Facebook also contributes to the lack of enthusiasm. Nevertheless, the site is still where a large amount of socializing takes place, and teens feel they need to stay on Facebook in order to not miss out. That said, they're still very much engaged. They are sharing more information about themselves on social media sites than they did when last researched in 2006. Among the takeaways: 91% post a photo of themselves, up from 79% in 2006.––––71% post the city or town where they live, up from 61%. 60% of teen Facebook users set their Facebook profiles to private (friends only), and most report high levels of confidence in their ability to manage their settings. The study was based on a nationally representative phone survey run by the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project of 802 parents and their 802 teens ages 12-17. It was conducted between July 26 and September 30, 2012. SEE COMPLETE STUDY HERE

Bad Luck Comes In Threes For BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw

THE MOUTH, MAY 23RD, 2013 –– It's been a tough few weeks for the Radio 1 Breakfast Show’s Nick Grimshaw. He was the victim of a celebrity slamming, a disappointing start to his latest TV show and then he discovered his car had been clamped. But Grimshaw looked determined not to let the latest batch of bad luck get him down, posing next to his clamped car and giving a thumbs up to a Daily Mail photographer. The common cost for the removal of a clamp is £70.00, ($106) and it is likely the star would also have been slapped with a parking fine for £80.00 ($121). At the Sony Awards last week, the singer Robbie Williams branded Grimmy a 'b******' for banning his music from Radio 1. Grimshaw's BBC 3 television show Sweat The Small Stuff has got off to a slow start despite high profile panelists and guests. The show attracted just 400,000 viewers - 20% lower on the stations average ratings for the time slot.

BBC Radio 4 Rapped Over 'Cox Sackers' On-Air Comment - It was intended as a play on words but when Radio 4 afternoon show Thinking Allowed used the words "cox sackers" on air it was deemed too close to the bone by the BBC Trust.
The discussion programme hosted by Laurie Taylor read out the phrase in a listener's email in response to an item in the previous week's programme about the sacking of a cox from a rowing team. One listener described it as a "grossly offensive play on words" and complained to the BBC Trust after their complaint was twice rejected by corporation management. The trust's editorial complaints unit agreed, saying the phrase was "not articulated clearly enough and could easily have been misheard for the offensive word 'coc(k)suckers' by the majority of the audience".

We had a nice conversation about his movies and those OTHER directors." Smith also took time to pose with other WJR talent, and nationally known author, Mitch Albom.
