St. Louis Show Dumped Following Albert Pujols' Accusation
THE MOUTH, AUGUST 12TH, 2013 –– Just a week after starting at WGNU-AM Radio in St. Louis, Jack Clark, along with co-host Kevin Slayton were uncerimoniously dumped by company officials after accusing former St. Louis Cardinal, now Angels first baseman, Albert Pujols of using performance-enhancing drugs early in his career. According to St. Louis Today, Clark said he based his comments on conversations he had with Chris Mihlfeld, Pujols' former personal trainer, who worked with the Dodgers when Clark was the team's hitting coach in 2000. Mihlfeld denied the allegations, while Pujols, who began his career in St. Louis, issued a statement in which he denied ever using performance-enhancing drugs and threatened legal action against Clark and his employer, which is technically InsideSTL Enterprises, a media company that WGNU contracted for the show. InsideSTL quickly issued a statement saying it had "terminated its relationship with Jack Clark and Kevin Slaten. As independent contractors, we want to make it clear that the opinions expressed do not necessarily reflect the opinions of InsideSTL. Pujols also issued a statement saying he's currently in the process of taking legal action against Jack Clark and his employers at WGNU (920 AM). Meanwhile, Slaten says he plans to sue over the flap. Stern quickly fired back with the correct spelling writing "It's spelled Baba Booey." For the record, Ian ended up +8 for the weekend, with Jason Dufner taking honors with a -10.

Plans Underway For Chet Buchanan 10th Annual Record Setting Toy Drive
THE MOUTH, AUGUST 9TH, 2013 –– It's a stunt that keeps on giving. Chet Buchanan, host of 98.5 KLUC's Morning Zoo is already planning his tenth year of spending twelve days living on wooden scaffolding. In December. No, he's not crazy: Buchanan has been spending a little under two weeks on a platform thirty feet in the air in order to raise awareness for Toy Drive in Las Vegas. Buchanan came up with the idea as a kid growing up in Seattle. "The idea originally was the top of the Space Needle for charity, but there are dreams that cannot be. Even so, despite 60-mph wind gusts, sideways rain, snow and hail he has never once come down from the scaffold, according to Diamond Cake. Last year Chet's Toy Drive received 3,280 bikes, 268,000 dollars in gift cards, and eighteen trucks filled with toys. I said: “No way, man.” [Laughs] If it doesn’t happen one year, it will be disappointing. But each time it’s one of those situations where, once it ends, you start getting ready for next year. 1
New Twist In Scnitt Case: DUI Charges Dropped Against Attorney
THE MOUTH, AUGUST 9TH, 2013 –– Tampa police Chief Jane Castor backed off her previously support of the officers involved, in the arrest of Todd Scnitt's lawyer, C. Phillip Campbell Jr. releasing a statement: "It is clear that Sgt. Ray Fernandez utilized bad judgment when he failed to remove himself from this investigation. He should have assigned it to an officer who did not have a personal connection to the tip." The paralegal from the firm Adams and Diaco, thirty-year-old Melissa Personius, noticed Campbell walking into the bar as she was walking out. She called her boss from the next bar they stopped at and said she could go back to Malio's if necessary -- this resulted in Personius sitting down and buying Campbell a drink. She then proceeded to flirt with Campbell and order drinks for the rest of the night, all while making time to text a fellow lawyer from the firm, Adam Filthaut. Filthaut then called Sgt. Fernandez, a close friend of his. What followed involved calls between Filthaut, Personius, Fernandez, the very partners themselves Adams and Diaco, all while Campbell sipped a Southern Comfort and chatted up this cute girl he'd just met, not knowing that she'd be the Delilah to his unwitting Samson. Bubba The Love Sponge Clem tweeted : "This setup nonsense has nothing to do with me or the fact that a jury of my peers found in my favor vs Todd Schnitt. This was just another weak attempt from the losers to justify why they got their a-- kicked in court by me/jay diaco."
