Todd Schnitt Files Motion For New Trial Against Bubba [VIDEO]

THE MOUTH, FEBRUARY 12TH, 2013 –– As Jockline Daily first reported last week, it's now official, only days after Bubba the Love Sponge was cleared in the defamation lawsuit filed against him by rival national host Todd "MJ" Schnitt, it's on to round 2 as MJ's team has filed a motion for a new trial. According to 10 News Tampa, they've obtained an exclusive copy of the motion, which outlines various reasons that the Schnitts are looking for a new trial. Much of their basis for requesting a new trial stems from that night when Schnitt's attorney Phil Campbell was arrested for DUI after drinking at Malio's with a legal assistant, Melissa Personius, who works for the firm representing Bubba. Facts related to Campbell's briefcase being held by Bubba's lawyers for over 24 hours also contributed to the motion. Bubba's attorneys have 14 days to file paperwork in response to this current motion from MJ's team requesting a new trial.
