THE MOUTH, NOVEMBER 1ST, 2016 - For the first time in its 28 year history, this year's National Radio Hall of Fame will induct an on-air radio producer during its November 17th ceremony in Chicago. Jockline has confirmed that longtime producer Tommy Sablan, of San Diego's Jeff & Jer Showgram, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in addition to Jeff & Jer.

This year's event will be hosted by WCBS-FM 101.1 New York morning personality and United Stations Radio Network’s nationally syndicated host of America’s Greatest Hits Scott Shannon. The National Radio Hall of Fame will take place Thursday, November 17 at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in downtown Chicago from 6-9 p.m. The 2016 inductees include George G. Beasley, Delilah, Jeff & Jer (Jeff Detrow & Jerry Cesak), Eric & Kathy (Eric Ferguson & Kathy Hart), Steve Harvey, Bob Kingsley, Kidd Kraddick, Tony Roberts, Neil Rogers, Michael Savage and Tommy Sablan.

Sablan (Sa-BLON) tells Jockline, "I'm very grateful that event Chairman Kraig Kitchin, and the National Radio Hall of Fame are recognizing the fact that I've been with Jeff and Jer for 28 years and that my career and my contributions to the show are hall of fame caliber. I'm very proud that I can forever say that I'm the very first on-air producer inducted into this prestigious group. 1
