In its Complaint, 'Plaintiff Radio One, Inc. presents claims for relief of trademark infringement, false designation of origin, deceptive acts and practices, and unfair competition against Defendant Flinn Broadcasting Corporation.' Boom, which is actually registered to CBS, assigned the name to Radio One which launched it Boom format in Houston on October 8th, 2014. KANYE WEST: 'Of Course I Want To Be On The Radio'
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 23RD, 2015 –– Appearing before a gathering at the iHeartMedia Music Summit at Burbank, CA's iHeartRadio Theatre, Kanye West walked out with his laptop, picked up the mic - then, according to billboard.com, put it down and proceeded to speak for around 45 minutes without a mic. Since he was speaking before a number of programmers, he circled back to a statement he made onstage at the Governors Ball in 2013: that he didn't want to be on the radio. "I was joking!" he laughed. "Of course I want to be on the radio!" In his speech, which Billboard describes as a bit stream-of-consciousness, he spoke at length about how he'd brought unlikely songs and topics to urban radio with "Jesus Walks" and "Through the Wire" from his first album, and then later in his career discovered Daft Punk and EDM and brought those influences into his music with "Stronger" and again with 808s and Heartbreak and how he hears that album's influence on a lot of urban radio today, even though it wasn't his biggest-selling album. "This little talk I'm giving is going good so far," he said at one point, "so I have to risk being Kanye." He also talked about working with Paul McCartney on "Only One." He also brought up 'what a sexy song the Beatles' "Come Together" is, and how he was in complete disbelief when Paul stood across from him and played the bassline. PHOTO/Def Jam
[LISTEN] Gloria Allred Talks Cosby Case With WMJI-FM/Cleveland
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 23RD, 2015 –– With an assist from Envision Networks® Guest Services, attorney Gloria Allred spoke yesterday with The Majic Morning Show on WMJI/Cleveland (Nolan, Malone & Kullik )about (s)exual abuse allegations made against Bill Cosby. Allred is currently representing eight of the women who have come forward with allegations against Cosby. Many have questioned why it took so long for the alleged victims to come forward. Allred said that Cosby’s status as a celebrity kept the women from going public sooner because they were intimidated and feared backlash against them.“Some of them were in fear that they would not be believed … They were afraid also that they would be attacked because he has a lot of money and he can pay his, what I call his ‘paid attack dogs,’ to attack them and in fact that fear that they would be attacked has become a reality when they finally did come out,” Allred said. She went on to say that some of the alleged victims told family and friends about their accusations at the time, but never made them public with a lawsuit or by going to the police. Due to the statute of limitations, the alleged victims haven’t been able to file a lawsuit against Cosby since bringing their allegations to the public. Allred also revealed that in addition to the women she is currently representing, there are more who have contacted her but have not yet made their accusations public. She continued that some of them would do so in the future. “We haven’t heard the last of this. This is a very, very serious situation and whether or not they can sue, they can still tell what their story is in the court of public opinion and everybody can judge for themselves,” Allred said. DAN RATHER: The Most Dangerous Time For Journalists In The History Of The Profession
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 23RD, 2015 –– Legendary Journalist Dan Rather spoke with Florida Live host Dan Maduri on how news media has changed over the years. When asked by Maduri if it's more dangerous to be a journalist today compared to when he was reporting abroad, Rather said: "The short answer is, yes. This is by any reasonable analysis, the most dangerous time for journalists in the history of the profession. There's always been an element of danger in things such as covering war zones, hurricanes, natural disasters, but given the situation of the world today, I think it is unquestionable it's the most dangerous time for journalists ever." Of course, back in Rather's heyday, he was well-known for taking on dangerous interviews. Did he ever get nervous, Maduri asked: "Sure. For example if you walk into Baghdad Palace as I did during Gulf War I for my first interview with Saddam Hussein, walked into the palace alone and meet Saddam Hussein three tiers underground, and you're there by yourself alone, are you gonna get nervous? You bet." Maduri asked, 'Did you ever find yourself with a certain admiration towards some of these people you were interviewing even though they had been deemed some of the most despicable people on earth? "No. When we were among the most despicable people on earth, I didn't have any thoughts about admiration. With Saddam Hussein, listen, no one could be in the room with him for any length of time at all and not conclude that here you had a stone cold killer. And what's Rather's take on today's news vs. keeping up with The Kardashians?" LISTEN TO INTERVIEW HERE

Geraldo Rivera Gets Double Love On New York Billboard
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 23RD, 2015 –– When you're the star of a popular TV series as well as a midday host on Cumulus' 77 WABC New York, it made good sense to make the most out of the situation. As you'll see from the large billboard, there, bigger than life, is Geraldo Rivera sandwiched between the logos of both NBC's Celebrity Apprentice and 77 WABC Radio. - Our only question is who paid for the billboard? Regardless of who paid, it's a win-win for both shows. BTW, Geraldo does regular 'Apprentice' updates on his radio show. PHOTO/Courtesy of Mike McVay

The group’s president, Chuck Street, who just so happens to be Dees’ longtime traffic reporter from his days at KIIS-FM, will present the Art Gilmore Career Achievement Award at the group’s luncheon at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City. According to thedailynews.com, It was 1979 when Dees landed in Los Angeles, first at KHJ (930 AM) and then hired away by then head of programming, Don Benson (R) at KIIS-FM where he remained for over a quarter century. Dees defined morning radio in Los Angeles At KIIS-FM where he was teamed with Wally Clark, programmer Gerry DeFrancisco, and a cast that included Liz Fulton, plus fellow on-air hosts such as Big Ron O’Brien, Paul Freeman and Bruce Vidal among others. Accord in to the report:, those ratings records still stand: No FM station in Los Angeles has earned the ratings KIIS-FM had in the early to mid-1980s; only the AM stations of the 1960s and ’70s commanded a higher rating than KIIS’ 10-plus shares in the Arbitron ratings, and that was before the popularity, and extra competition, of FM.

Are Serials Bringing Back 'Intrigue' To The Radio Experience
Audio journalism is a satisfying form for such tales: intimate voices, sound artistry, provocative questions phrased casually - Sharon Larson
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 22ND, 2015 –– While the media is still buzzing over the popularity of NPR's 'Serial,' perhaps a bigger story is the growing intrigue of storytelling on the radio medium. Now there's 'Invisibilia', starring Alix Spiegel and Lulu Miller (shown) a new NPR show about the unseen forces that shape human behavior, thoughts, emotions, assumptions and ideas. The New Yorker writes, “Invisibilia,” like “Serial” before it, has been the No. 1 podcast on iTunes for most of its existence, adding, “Invisibilia” sounds like a cross between “This American Life and “Radiolab,” and hints of the elaborate sound design and chatty “Cosmos”-meets-“Car Talk” vibe of “Radiolab.” Writer Sharon Larson says “Invisibilia” combines sophisticated storytelling with cultural and scientific reporting, yielding astonishing stories that can feel almost too good to be true. Audio journalism is a satisfying form for such tales: intimate voices, sound artistry, provocative questions phrased casually. Larson adds, 'Emotion, that wonderful and nefarious invisible force, is a powerful part of entertaining journalism of the NPR variety. And it’s tied to our love of both storytelling and neuroscience. We want answers and advice; we want things to make sense. On “Invisibilia,” they often do. READ ENTIRE ARTICLE HERE - PHOTO/John Poole/NPR

Vanessa Feltz Fills For Late Arriving Chris Evans - Chris Evans was 30 minutes late for his breakfast show – the biggest show on UK radio – meaning Vanessa Feltz had to stay on an extra half hour. The incident was handled in a tweet and patronizing way by Vanessa, who said “lovely listeners be gentle with me if you please I will be in charge for the next half hour”. Chris managed to get to work in time to be on the air in time for just after the 7am news where he sung along with his jingle and made no mention of his late arrival, but did say the show was dedicated to anyone who missed the first half hour. He said it was “probably the best, the very best since we started our five and a half year run. Seriously, catch up with it on iPlayer. It was off the chart.” He did however say thank you to “Lady Vanessa”, who would have made her way to her next show on BBC London 94.9 a little later than normal.

[WATCH] FCC Fines ESPN And Viacom For Emergency Alert Misuse
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 21ST, 2015 –– The FCC has upheld it's fines against Viacom and ESPN over misuse of Emergency Alerts after running ads for Film District‘s 2013 thriller 'Olympus Has Fallen,' which featured the alert audio in its trailer. According to deadline.com, the agency rejected the companies’ claims that they shouldn’t be held responsible for fines it imposed last year, requiring Viacom to pay $1.12 million and ESPN to cough up $280,000. Reportedly, Viacom aired the ad 108 times over Spike, VH1, MTV, Comedy Central, MTV2, Centric, and BET. ESPN ran them 13 times over four days on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNEWS. Viacom and ESPN told the FCC that they shouldn’t be held responsible because they weren’t notified that the movie trailer broke the rules. Viacom added that the ban on use of EAS tones “does not apply to intermediaries…which neither produced the Advertisement nor transmitted it directly to consumers.” The FCC countered by saying that the rule “applies broadly to ‘persons’ and does not exclude cable programmers.” It also applies to those who “transmit or cause to transmit” the tones, which gave the companies “unambiguous notice” that they could be held responsible. Of note: Viacom’s ad guidelines tell buyers that it can review commercials before they run and reject them if needed “to ensure compliance” with laws and regulations. CLICK HERE TO WATCH TRAILER

Radio Host Seeks To Turn John Denver's Aspen Home Into Peace Retreat
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 21ST, 2015 –– Following last August announcement that the late John Denver's Aspen home was on the market for $10.75 million, Willie Hoevers, who host a weekly American Veteran's Radio Show, had a vision to turn the home into a "Global Retreat for Peace." According to bizjournal.com, Hoevers told the Aspen Times that although the asking price is a bit out of his range, he is turning to listeners to raise the money. "I'm looking for people who are willing to invest in peace. Nothing more, nothing less," Hoevers told the newspaper. "And I'm looking for investors who are willing to take that step." The 6,000-square-foot, six-bedroom, 4.5 baths house is located on 7.6 acres of prime mountain real estate. Former New Orleans' Talk Host Caught On Video Making (S)exual Advances Towards Cabbie, Found Guilty Of Mischief
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 19TH, 2015 –– A New Orleans attorney and former WGSO/New Orleans' radio talk host accused of filing a false police report against the cabdriver who filmed her sexual advances toward him during a cab ride three years ago, was found guilty of misdemeanor criminal mischief last Friday (Jan. 16), according FOX 8 NOLA. Jennifer Gaubert, who was convicted in April of simple battery against driver Hervey Farrell, escaped a more serious felony charge of making false statements, the station reported. Farrell had originally faced charges of extortion and video voyeurism following a 2013 cab ride, with Gaubert claiming the cabbie emailed her attorney threatening to expose the video unless she paid him. But prosecutors declined the charges, leading Farrell to bring a federal lawsuit against New Orleans police and the city over his arrest. Farrell shot video of Gaubert which was entered into evidence during the simple-battery trial of Gaubert. Judge Paul Sens convicted Gaubert on April 2 of touching the cab driver without his permission. Farrell has now filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the New Orleans Police Department for the way they initially handled the matter. WARNING: NSFW - WATCH HERE

Another Setback For Sirius XM In Turtles' Copyright Suit
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 16TH, 2015 –– A New York federal judge mostly rejected Sirius XM Holdings Inc's request to reconsider her Nov. 14 decision in favor of members of the 1960s band The Turtles over the payment of royalties for songs made before 1972. According to reuters.com, Judge Colleen McMahon rejected Sirius' arguments that Flo & Eddie Inc did not own copyrights in The Turtles' recordings or gave it an "implied" license to play Turtles songs. She did agree that Flo & Eddie could recover damages for copyright infringement only for the three years before it sued on Aug. 16, 2013, not six years as she had previously suggested. The lawsuit is among others that Sirius and Pandora face over their playing of songs recorded before Feb. 15, 1972. Though such songs are not covered by federal copyright law, some recording artists and labels have won rulings entitling them to copyright protection under individual state laws. Flo & Eddie has filed lawsuits in New York, California and Florida, seeking more than $100 million for Sirius' alleged infringements. In September, a federal judge in California found Sirius liable for infringements under that state's laws.

Radio News Director Facing Deportation Advised To 'Get Married' To Stay Here
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 14TH, 2015 –– Catie Quinn has tried for months to retain her U.S. work visa so she can continue with her job as news director of the KSRM Radio Group in Alaska. According to redoubtreporter.com, Quinn said 'For some reason immigration wanted to nitpick. They are not convinced that this job (listed as ‘radio announcer’) requires a bachelor’s level education, which is one of the requirements for a work visa,” Quinn said. The immigration agency determined that a news director does not require a college education. On Dec. 23, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services informed Quinn her application for visa renewal was denied and she must return to Australia. She was ordered to immediately leave the U.S., the country in which she’s been working and paying taxes. She’s got a one-way ticket back to Sydney booked for Jan. 27. “The advice I’ve gotten from everyone, from the U.S. CIS office in Anchorage to immigration attorneys, I’m not even kidding you, is, ‘Get married. That’s the only way.’ It’s not even a joke. I’ve stopped laughing now when people say that. I’ve stopped blushing when people say, ‘Well, I’ll marry you.’ And some of them are already married,” she said. Quinn plans to return to Australia as directed. She will stay with a childhood friend’s parents to start with and look for work. But her first stop will be at the consulate to apply for another visa, as news director at KSRM. The station is currently accepting applications for the position, and plans to hold it open for 60 days. READ COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE

I just feel like she wasn’t sidekick material...” In the days that followed, Carolla was met with a social media firestorm by disgruntled, and angry rants from Alison fans. As you'll recall, Swift removed her entire back catalog from Spotify as she was promoting new album 1989, which sold 1.287 copies in its first week. "We had an amazing 2014 at Spotify and owe it all to you, the music fans who listen, discover, share and celebrate music and artists with us every day of the year,' the firm said. The company also introduced its 'family plan' in November, enabling subscribers to add up to four family members with their own accounts on the service for $4.99 a month. 'If you take away only one thing, it should be this: No free, no paid, no two billion dollars.' The latter figure related to the amount of royalties paid out by Spotify since its launch in 2008, including $1bn paid out in 2014 alone. Singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran was the year's most streamed artist on Spotify, while Eminem tops the list in the United States. Pharrell's 'Happy' was the most streamed song of the year globally. PBS' 'Downtown Abbey' Finally Gets Its Own Wireless Radio
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 13TH, 2015 –– We'll call this a story within a story. If you follow the hugely popular 'Downtown Abbey' series on PBS, your ears probably perked up a bit during the second episode of the fifth season of “Downtown Abbey,” as Lord Grantham changed his mind and decided that the family could finally get a wireless radio. According to bloomberview.com, after several attempts by Lady Rose to persuade her uncle to allow a wireless radio to be installed, Grantham is finally persuaded when he learns that the king will be speaking on the radio. Bloomberg's Stephen L. Carter opined that nowadays, such news 'would occasion a shrug.' At the time, it was a thunderclap." The British Broadcasting Company (BBC) had been founded just two years earlier, and although there were many who believed wireless was nothing but a fad, the fact that the king would stoop to addressing the nation on the radio taught a valuable lesson about the power of the new medium. The historian John M. MacKenzie quotes John Reith, at the time the BBC’s managing director, who wrote in his diary: “Everything went most successfully, including the broadcast which went all over the country and was the biggest thing we have done yet.”

Longtime Programmer, Nick Ferrara, Killed In Auto Crash
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 12TH, 2015 –– Thoughts, prayers and memories continue to be posted on Facebook (see below link) for longtime radio programmer/host Nick Ferrara who was killed in an auto crash near his home in Gulfport, Miss. over the weekend. AUDIO: NFL Official Speaks To WWO Sports About Controversial Dez Bryant Call
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 12TH, 2015 –– NFL fans have had lots to scratch their heads over during this year's playoff. Yesterday controversial call on Dez Bryant's catch that was eventually ruled an incomplete pass in the divisional playoff game between Green Bay and Dallas was the latest. NFL Vice-President of Officiating Dean Blandino (R) joined Scott Graham in the Westwood One post-game show and asked: Scott Graham: When we take a look at this play, obviously there’s been a lot talked about over the course of the last several hours. Can you walk me through exactly what the rule is and exactly how this turned out? Dean Blandino: So the rule is we have to determine was Bryant going to the ground and in the process of making the catch or did he complete the process first and then go to the ground. And in looking at it, it’s all one act. He’s going to the ground and he has to hold on to the ball throughout the process of contact in the ground. There’s no act common to the game; it’s all one process. The ball hits the ground, it pops out of his left hand into the air, so at that point, right after it hits the ground and then it pops up into the air and comes loose, that makes it an incomplete pass by rule. Scott: Regardless of the fact that it comes back down in his hands once again? Dean: Correct, regardless of the fact that whether it comes back down in his hands. It became an incomplete pass the moment it came loose after touching the ground because that happened during the catch process. LISTEN TO INTERVIEW HERE

The report also mentions a docuseries starring Z100 radio host Elvis Duran which describes a reality series that pairs celebrities and inventors to create and launch a product line; and Worst Ever, a stage comedy series in which talent recounts their most embarrassing life moments. Sources tell Jockline that while converstions have been ongoing, at this point there's nothing official at this point it's still in development and being labeled 'The Elvis Duran Project.' The article describes Durans docu-series as 'following Duran and his employees both at work and play. The series will feature superstar guests and platinum selling artists who stop by the radio show, road trips with fans, and best moments from fan-fueled music festivals and live events.' Our development reflects our programming mission of covering what’s popping in culture and creating content around personalities or subjects that have an inherent fan-base supporting them," Pop president of entertainment and media Brad Schwartz said.

Only one of the six complainants. actress Lucy DeCoutere (R), an actress on Trailer Park Boys., has been identified publicly. The others are all subject to a standard publication ban, as is any evidence presented at the bail hearing. DeCoutere publicly accused Ghomeshi of choking her “to the point she could not breathe.” She also said he slapped her three times “hard” on the side of her head in 2003. The CBC fired its star host on Oct. 26 after seeing what it called “graphic evidence” that Ghomeshi, 47, had caused physical injury to a woman. As reported on Monday in Jockline Daily, the CBC announced that two high-ranking executives, Chris Boyce, executive director of CBC Radio, and Todd Spencer, HR executive director, had been put on indefinite leave of absence in light of the scandal. [LISTEN] Listener Has Auto Accident While Phoning In For Contest
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 9TH, 2015 –– Guess we should add 'don't do radio contesting' to the list of safety measures while driving. This would have helped one Dallas woman yesterday who phoned into 96.3 KSCS-FM's midday goddess, Michelle Rodriguez. No sooner had Michelle answered the phone, instead of a voice at the other end, she heard nothing more than loud noise and screaming. "Hello," Michelle repeated until a clearly shaken-up women finally spoke. 'Sorry I just got into a car accident,' she said nervously. "Are you okay,' Michelle quickly asked. "Yes I'm fine,' the woman said. 'But I'm in the middle of an intersection... 'DID I WIN' the woman screamed. 'Yes' a happy but surprised Michelle replied. "I'll just get your phone number and call you back." We never heard what she won, but hopefully it was worth it. We're guessing from this point forward Michelle will begin answering all contest by asking 'Are you driving?' LISTEN HERE

Another Bizzare Ruling from Ofcom London community radio station Resonance FM has found itself in trouble with Ofcom (our FCC) after broadcasting a programme on the day of the Scottish Referendum encouraging people which way to vote. Despite this, Resonance FM issued a graveling apology to Ofcom to protect their licence.

[WATCH] BRIAN REGAN: 'I Was A Radio DJ For One Day...'
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 8TH, 2015 –– In Chris Rock's film 'Take Five', which was released in December, comedian Brian Regan is featured in a very short cameo as a satellite radio producer. While performing this week in Canada this week, he paused for an interview with The Vancouver Sun and revealed he actually worked 'One Day' as a fill-in host on a Dallas country station. After being asked if he had any on-air experience, he said: "One time I was working in Dallas, and I was going to be there for more than a week, and I did a radio interview the first week. It was for a country station and one of the DJs was going on vacation the second week. So they asked if I would fill in one day. I thought all right, I’ll take this little challenge on. I was a radio DJ for one day on a country station and, uhm, it didn’t go well. The first thing I did, just to be completely silly, I said “Hey my name’s Brian Regan, and the first thing I want to do is give away a truck.” And I was just being absurd, thinking everybody would get the joke. And nobody got the joke. So I had to spend the next three hours doing disclaimers." Bizarre Pre-Season Bet Coming Back To Haunt Atlanta Hosts
Said They Would Go To Prison If Atlanta Hawks Won Championship - Team Now Top Ranked
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 7TH, 2015 –– Back before the basketball season began, 680 The Fan (93.7 FM) Atlanta's Chuck Oliver & Matt Chernoff made one of the most bizarre radio bets ever by saying if their beloved Atlanta Hawks won the NBA Championship, they would go to prison for life. For the record, this is a feat the franchise hasn't accomplished since they came to Atlanta in 1968. Unfortunately for Chuck And Matt, the Hawks are now the top ranked team in the NBA according to ESPN. According to The AJC's Rodney Ho, The top-rated show figured this would be a joke because Las Vegas oddsmakers had placed the Hawks at 100-1 odds of winning the title. They haven’t even won an Eastern Conference championship in their 47-year history. NBA Future Odds still has the Hawks at a modest 25-1 odds with 11 teams given a better shot at the title. Ho says the Hawks have the third-best record in the NBA at 26-8 and are No. 1 in the Eastern Conference. They have won 20 of the past 22 games, with an 11-5 record against teams with a better than .500 record. Chernoff admitted on the air this week the bet, in retrospect ,wasn’t a good idea: 'We’d want to go to a white-collar prison in Pensacola,” Chernoff said in an interview today before the show. All said, even if the Hawks did win, it's unlikely they would find a prison to let them serve out their lost bet. And in case the Hawks lose, the duo said they would be rewarded a free weekend in Vegas, courtesy of one of their sponsors.

[LISTEN] Gregg Giannotti Begins National Gig For CBS Sports Radio
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 5TH, 2015 –– Gregg Giannotti does unbelievable impressions. Even of his fellow CBS Radio peeps such as Mike Francesa and Joe Benigno. Beginning last Friday, the rest of the country will be able to enjoy his talents as he joins CBS Sports Radio on a national level to co-host with Brian Jones. The budding star went from producing for Benigno and Evan Roberts at WFAN before taking on a sports talk slot in Pittsburgh for the last five years. According to newday.com, Giannotti says "I went into it thinking this was going to be like going to college again -- learn, come back in a couple of years, like an extended business trip," he said. "I ended up developing all these great relationships." Now, the New York native heads back home where he will work out of the same studio Benigno and Roberts used when he was their producer. Oddly, Giannotti won't be heard in New York other than those listeners who listen online. CBS Radio, which owns WFAN, long has been expected to move its national programming into either the FAN's AM or FM signal, but so far that has not happened. Giannotti and Jones will succeed Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney, who are moving to the 9 a.m.-to-noon shift, and Dana Jacobson, who returned her focus to television. As for his impersonations, He said he once pretended to be Benigno for a five-minute phone conversation with Benigno's wife, Terry, in the old WFAN studios and she didn't know the difference." If you're familiar with Francesa and Benigno, enjoy THIS SAMPLE of Gregg's talent from his previous stint at The Fan.

MEDIA PREDICTION: Streaming Music is The Future
THE MOUTH, JANUARY 5TH, 2015 –– CNN's Frank Pallotta says 2014 was an up and down year for media, but as the year wound down he forecast three media predictions for the new year: Atop the list was that 2015 would see a big box office year for film-makers, ie. there would be light at the end of the tunnel for Hollywood following a somewhat dismal year. He credits new films such as "Fifty Shades of Grey," "Avengers: Age of Ultron," and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" as greatest contributors to the turnaround. At number two he pointed to Stand alone HBO GO as being the 'tipping point' for cord cutters. This followed HBO announcing in October that it would start selling subscriptions via the internet sometime in 2015 thus opening the network to a potentially new audience. But his third prediction is what caught our eye saying 'Streaming music is the future,' adding this would be the case whether 'Taylor Swift likes it or not. A reference to the spat between Taylor Swift and Spotify after the pop star pulled her music from the platform in November. As we head into 2015, Pallotta looks to Billboard 200 now counting streams, YouTube creating its own music service, and only one album achieving platinum status in 2014. "The music industry is clearly moving towards a streaming future," he suggests. Pallotta adds, "As media showed us in 2014 it can't stop, won't stop moving forward. READ ARTICLE HERE
